A New England Patriots legend and his girlfriend continue to give back to front-line workers in Massachusetts during the coronavirus pandemic.Rob Gronkowski and Camille Kostek — a model, actress and businesswoman — donated face masks and face shields to the Foxborough and Walpole fire departments on Friday.According to the Foxborough Fire Department, the couple donated 1,600 protective masks to their firefighters alone.In their Instagram stories, Gronkowski and Kostek said the personal protective equipment is also meant for the family and friends of the firefighters, as well as others in the community who the firefighters feel are in need of the supplies.In March, Gronkowski and Kostek donated 10,000 face masks to Boston Medical Center and another 10,000 to St. Joseph’s Healthcare Network in New Jersey, according to Sports Illustrated.”Gronk” retired in March 2019 fresh off his third Super Bowl title with the Patriots. The four-time All-Pro tight end came out of retirement last month, but only did so after he was traded to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in order to reunite with former Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.For the moment, the 31-year-old is still living in Foxborough and continues to give back to those who have helped him during his time in New England.“Thanks (Foxborough Fire Department) for keeping my house safe through the years,” Gronkowski wrote in a post in his Instagram story.Videos posted Gronkowski’s Instagram story show that he was characteristically fun-loving self during the personal protective equipment drop-offs.He was filmed dancing on the front bumper of a Walpole fire engine and during his visit to the Foxborough fire house, he pretended to drive a fire engine and slid down the firefighter’s pole.
